ATR Hotel Mode Loses Power After Exiting Aircraft

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
When powering the ATR 42/72 in MSFS 2024 using Hotel Mode on engine #2, if the pilot exits the aircraft (Shift + C), the turbine shuts down automatically, causing the aircraft to lose the electrical power provided by the engine.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you?
Every time the aircraft is energized with Hotel Mode and the pilot exits the aircraft.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Load the ATR 42/72 in MSFS 2024.

  2. Energize the aircraft using Hotel Mode on engine #2.

  3. Exit the aircraft using Shift + C.

  4. Observe that the turbine shuts down automatically and electrical power is lost.

YOUR SETTINGS

  • Peripherals used: Standard keyboard, mouse and xbox controler.

  • Developer Mode: Not active.

  • DX11/DX12: DX12.

  • GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4060.

  • Other relevant PC specs: AMD Ryzen 5700X, 32 GB RAM, Windows 10.
