REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Use Streamed version or even download version

  2. Start on a gate (included airport (PARO) or LKFJ (PESIM))

  3. Try to use ACW Power or DC Power or import simbrief

@meh1951 Looks like someone else with your same issue, possibly?

I can repicate this.

Can either of the users with this issue please share some screenshots of the ATR EFB?

Yes. I think I have found a work-around.

1 Load up the ATR42-600

2 Verify that the EFB is working if it is not working Import OFP will not be lit up

3 Exit the flight

4 Disconnect Controls

5 Restart the flight

6 Verify that the EFB is working if it is working Import OFP will be lit up

6 Configure for a flight (load your flight plan etc.

7 Plug in your Controls

Its like the controls on the 42-600 are not getting cleaned up

And then to top it all off

The work-around for me was to un-bind the parking brake from my Honeycomb Bravo…how does that get by QC

Quality control cannot expect to test every control device with every possible binding.

Are you suggesting it’s the Bravo, rather than the parking brake control binding itself?

For example, I wrote up a bug that the ATR isn’t recognizing “Set Parking Brake” at all. You bind that and it doesn’t set or release the brake. It’s got nothing to do with the peripheral.

I don’t know which brake binding is causing this EFB issue (it hasn’t been stated), but it would seem quite odd that the peripheral itself is the root of the issue.

Does any parking brake binding work with the ATR without issue?

I have an axis bound to parking brake on in one position and parking brake off in another and that has not caused issues. On another setup I believe I have one button bound to toggle parking brake and also no issue.

It could be the way the Bravo specifically is sending the signal, not sure.

Why do we not have the same problem with the 72-600?

I’m not a developer of this, or any other, product so I couldn’t tell you.

well it was my throttle with parking brake set to off so the error is so dumb (alway check your setup before start)
