ATR Update Version Issue

Hi folks,

for me it turned out even worse. After trying to update the ATR my whole FS installation got corrupted… I couldnt get the simulator up and running even in the safe mode! Also the deletion of the ATR folder didnt fix the issue. The CTD happened under all circumstances. So I am actually very frustrated as I have to reinstall the whole FS… result weekend gone (600GB of data to install!!!). Even after the new installation the ATR initial install fails again and therefore I wont touch this package again.

Exactly the same, bought for approx. 10 min via MarketPlace … all went well but starting the installation the same “PENDING” … “package failed” - no chance to install this addon. Thats exactly the reason, why I won´t buy anything via MarketPlace because you have nothing in your hand … all is in MS hands and you have a 100% dependency …

MSFS 1.32.7.0 - so no beta or similar else

June 17 I purchased the MSFS on steam PC just for the ATR. After a very VERY slow installation/download of the MSFS, I thought I could finally fly the ATR. BUT after my purchase through the marketplace (PC Steam Ver.) the download is stuck on pending. I tried both with the developer mode on and off. I also tried to restart the MSFS and install through the content manager but it would prompt “package failed” and a pending download once again.

I have no mods or addons. I only installed MSFS for the ATR.

I purchased the ATR 72-600 aircraft in Microsoft flight simulator steam version by pressing the buy and download button but the download is unable to start and is stuck on “pending”. The bill transaction was successful through my steam wallet. The only reason why I bought MSFS is for the ATR.

Are there any steps we need to take to get this fix? I am having the same issue and only with the ATR.

I am still getting this issue. I deleted the ATR, but now I can’t re-install it. I can download anything else from the marketplace / content manager. But the ATR specifically can’t be downloaded.

I tried different CDNs, disabling windows autotune, and last night I re-installed the game completely, including deleting all app data, but I still can’t download the ATR specifically. I can freely download all other content updates and aircraft.

Yeah same, unfortunately for some reason had to reinstall the whole friking sim friday and now the ATR won’t install. “Package failed”…

Even on the MSFS discord people are saying the issue was solved… I have not heard of anyone having the issue fixed. I don’t think I will ever buy anything from the marketplace again.

I finally found the solution to manage to reinstall the ATR.
Following the indication of last Thursday proposing an update I had uninstalled the ATR to download it again, and that makes me a failure of download, so here is how I proceeded:

1/relaunch the simulator and go to the content manager

2/ type ATR in the search bar

3/ click on the 3 dots to expand the content

4/ select ATR COMMON and download it

5/ then select the liveries and download them

and There you go

Same, is it all worth it. What a mess … Someone just posted a solution but it will take weeks to reinstall everything back to its normal bug ridden self. Not happy at all with Microsoft et al. Stop breaking it ■■■, its broken enough.

Agreed what saved me was not deleting the folders for the ATR but unistalling it from the content manager. At least that kept my MSFS from becoming corrupt, but I agree.
