ATSimulations Focke-Wulf P.149D released

Sorry, I was referring to the visible co-pilot rather than the autopilot. The RV10 has the co-pilot visible. Though I love the idea of co-pilot visibility being dependent on them being hooked up to the electrics.

Is this company (ATSimulation) still in business?
I bought the P149D a long time ago.
Now I want to reinstall but can’t log in to their website for my serial and download link. I have already sent email with no response.
Has anyone heard anything about this company or are they still active?

I believe they are, as they made the Dornier SeaStar for FS2024. I’ve spoken to the main developer (last year) via email, but not this year. Hopefully they’re still around, as they have 3 really nice looking addons on their to-do list (all with release dates of 2024, so… that clearly didn’t happen.) Andrey’s username here is @KindlyPlum39994 , maybe he could chime in?

How di you check which version you have?

IIRC the ZIP file has the version number, and the installed plane has a manifest.json file which also contains the version number.

When I try to install the latest version I get an error message that it can’t find the usercfg.opt file and cancels the installation, even when I put the installer in the same folder as the user cfg. Any ideas?

Did your problem get fixed?
Are you installing on 2020 or 2024?
Were you in the SU2 beta?

Apparently a bug was introduced that screwed up the location of the usercfg.opt file and messed with installers. You should be able to search for a solution on this site.

So I see the plane is “Temporary Unavailable”

Perhaps he’s working on updating it for 2024?

Has anyone seen any news on it?

I haven’t flown this in ages, so I hope it is getting the 2024 treatment.

For what it’s worth the FS2020 version seems to work fine in FS2024. The only issue that I noticed is the storm window being invisible in the external view.
