Hi guys. Any of you using the Turtle Beach yoke? I have one and had to go to Customer Support, as the audio out from the audio jack on the yoke is so very quiet. I thought it was faulty, but the CS guy said that it was quiet because the firmware hasn’t yet been activated and I should use the audio jack on the xbox controller. I’m unhappy with this, as the controller deactivates after a few minutes of not being used, so the audio dies. Have you had the same experience?

I had the same problem. I then connected the yoke to the pc. before that, of course, set the yoke to pc mode. set the yoke audio to max in the sound settings on the pc. disconnected the yoke, put it back on XBOX mode and it worked.!
Wow! That’s a solution I hadn’t thought of or tried. I’ll give it a go. Many thanks.
Well, well, well. Who’d a thunk? Your suggestion worked spectacularly well! I fired up my PC, plugged in the yoke, switched to PC mode, found the controller settings and bumped them up from 10% to 100%. Reversed the process, opened MSFS and the results were immediate, and very much louder. I can’t thank you enough.
Hi @Quaser1400, seems you’ve solved this already! But for future, if you’re on Xbox, the audio settings for the VelocityOne Flight can be changed using the VelocityOne Flight instead of the controller, to navigate the menus etc. if that makes sense? Hope this might help other users wanting similar info, if they don’t own a PC.
Hi @JamesTBS6584. Useful info for someone, I’m sure. Tbh, I had tried everything I possibly could using the yoke and the controller on my xbox. Nothing worked, so I was very glad to get the ‘use the pc mode’ advice. Not even Turtle Beach Customer Services could help. In fact, they were 100% wrong by saying this was a non - active problem awaiting a firmware update! I thought it was BS, which is what prompted my initial post. Moral of the story is ‘dont trust the experts, they may not be as expert as you expect, but seek far and wide for an explanation that actually works!’
