This sim… These updates… The future… It’s all just simply amazing! Day after day, you all keep my mind blown. A heartfelt thank you to all who have made this possible!
One thing that is great about using Bing maps is that maybe the maps are not as good as Google, but with the Flight Sim community and all the partnership they are developing will greatly improve the imagery. Also they said that they will soon add more precise data and better 3d processing (so maybe high resolution building textures instead of this flat/painted look). The future looks good.
Can’t stop to fly! i’m really enjoying every minute!
Thank you so much Microsoft and Asobo and i’m glad to see a patch coming soon!
Keep up the great work
When are we getting these shallow waters showed in the oceania video?
I noticed in the update somewhere that part of bug prioritisation is the number of times a bug is reported, so in addition to posting on the Forum, we should keep reporting bugs as much as we can. Cheers.
Zero information here. Nice.
Agreed, not sure why anyone is heaping any praise on the developers here!
I mean come on. A date to give us a date of a patch. Zero info on what is gonna be fixed or what has priority.
I have a degree in sociology and I don’t get why people ■■■■ up to developers,
It’s both of course. The fact that they have these updates on a regular basis is great, but at the same time the amount of real new information is a bit of a letdown. I would describe them as “vague”.
I don’t mean to whine here, this is meant as constructive feedback;
They are going to release a patch on issues reported. Next week they will probably have a release date. No info is provided on what kind of issues (are these bugs, installation issues, fps issues, autopilot issues or all of the above?)
In the meantime they have a support page with up to the minute updates… but that page was last updated 2 days ago.
It’s just vague.
Not sure we need a degree in anything to see that people who have taken us to this point, who we now need to take us much further still, might do the best possible job for us, not only with constructive criticism, but also some encouragement. Cheers.
I’m finding these weekly updates extremely underwhelming, the videos are a great touch but the lack of information and vagueness from a couple of other paragraphs is poor.
Take a leaf from other developers, have a Monthly roadmap, fill it with useful information like what you’ve worked on this past month, what we’re to expect in the coming month and what you’re working on in the short to long term.
They work so much better than a weekly one with barely any useful information in it whatsoever, you need to engage better with your customers, dig deeper and write something worthwhile.
P.S. Can we please get Changelogs with patches? Thank you
I guess the other option is to let them get on with it, and all will be revealed progressively with the fullness of time. It could also be that when you are too specific on exactly what you are doing and when it might be ready, you then - no matter how carefully you word it - you generate a whole raft of…well, how is it going…its been a while now…surely it does not take this long…how about employing more people…you said today and its now 12.01 am…etc etc etc. Cheers.
No European Military Airflieds! That is a Major Flaw!!
Make sure you make a bug report because alot of us would like to see those airports. Cheers.
Perfectly written, +1.
The encouragement they want should be sales based, not fawning sycophants on forums.
I just hope Bing updates the Satellite image data for many rural areas. The image data for most of where I live is almost a decade old and of very poor quality. Googles image data is much newer and very high quality.
