Tasmania’s Heartland

The journey begins in the cool southern reaches of Australia, departing from Cambridge Airport near Hobart and heading north toward Launceston. This gentle warm-up leg offers a scenic introduction to the world tour, with rolling farmland, winding rivers, and the distant outline of Tasmania’s central highlands.

Fly low over the Derwent River, trace the Midlands Highway corridor, and descend into the Tamar Valley — a region known for its vineyards, patchwork fields, and tranquil beauty. It’s a perfect start for GA aircraft and bush planes alike, setting the tone for the adventure ahead.

REMEMBER: You need to follow the instructions to accept our server rules of behaviour before you will be granted full access as a member to the server.

I am fairly new as well. It is very easy to do multiplayer - I was unsure - but it is fine. I an hoping to try this flight this evening so good luck.

How does Discord work?
Do I need to download any files and put them somewhere specific for the group flight?
How do they work, and where can I view the files you’ve shared?
Can I see the other participants around me while playing online?
I need more detailed information; I’m really new to this type of multiplayer.

You simply click on the link above. Discord will open in your Web Browser - nothing to install. If you’ve never used Discord before, you may need to create a username and password to provide a Discord account.

Once connected, you still need to do one last thing to get access to my Discord Server - you need to accept my simple rules for behaviour on the site. You do this by clicking on the “Y” where indicated. After that, you will be given Member access and will see all the channels in the server. I have provided a manual (so to speak) on how to use the channels. All the links are listed for your convenience.
