Distance: ~25 NM
Theme: High‑peak ridge run and open‑sky formation
- Depart LFNQ and climb into widening terrain
- Maintain 3,500–4,500 ft along the ridge line
- Straight‑line segment — perfect for formation spacing and photography
- Drop into LFCB from the high ground
Tone: Open, sweeping, and majestic — the high‑peak contrast leg.
LEG 4 — LFCB → LESU (Canyon Finale)
Distance: ~35 NM
Theme: Cinematic canyon return
- Depart LFCB into a broad valley system
- Canyon walls tighten gradually on the way to LESU
- Follow the river southwest for a scenic descent
- Final approach framed by steep mountain walls
