Aircraft: Cessna 172

Navigation: VOR/DME Only — No GPS • No Map

Route: KMYL → S81 → KSMN → 85U → ID28

Break: Full stop at KSMN (+15 min)

:airplane: LEG 1 — KMYL → S81 (Indian Creek)

VOR: DNJ 116.20

Procedure:

• Track 135° after departure

• Intercept DNJ outbound radial 071°

• Follow outbound to 47 DME DNJ

• Touch & Go at S81

Skills: Inbound radial intercept, DME fix identification

:airplane: LEG 2 — S81 → KSMN (Lemhi County)

VOR: LKT 113.50

Procedure:

• Track 057° inbound to LKT for 46 DME

• Overfly the VOR

• Continue 041° outbound for 10.6 DME

• Full Stop at KSMN — 15 min break

Skills: Station passage, inbound/outbound transition, short‑field arrival
