It this series of events, we celebrate the efforts of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) in Australia by flying a number of examples of the types of flights they provide as a service to the Australian community.

Location of Incident: Hamilton Island(YBHM)
Nature of Incident: Young man attacked by shark while swimming around the island. Severe blood loss, requiring urgent care at Townsville Hospital.
Notes: The victim has been treated at the scene by paramedicals, we will land at Hamilton Island airport where an ambulance will be waiting to transfer the patient. An ambulance will also be waiting at Townsville airport to transport the patient to the hospital.
