In this event we will fly a GA aircraft capable of a 110 knot cruise. Suggest the C172.

Take off from Shellharbour for Canberra. The event will be run on the VATSIM environment and there will be another event, that we will encounter approaching Canberra from another direction. CTAF calls are typically made during the flight but you can also join as an observer and fly the route, while listening in on the calls made by pilots. This can be a training ground for flying in these types of flights.

It is possible that we may have a Controller at Canberra, which will be interesting with traffic entering from different directions - how’s that for realism?
