Include within the menus the user option to have the ATC window automatically pop up when ATC talks to me [à la P3D].
And how about a user option to have an auto close feature too.

Got my upvote. I liked the way the x-life window in x-plane worked. The window stayed visible when the mouse pointer was on it and went off screen after a couple of seconds when you moved the mouse pointer off the window.
But what about also an option to make the ATC window translucent? It hide so much of the view.
Hi, VOP.
Yes, an excellent idea!
I shall edit the request [if I am allowed].
Hi fellow insomniac,
I suggest you also ask users to exactly describe how they would like the pop-up to function so that (if Asobo implements it) we don’t get something most users will not like. My preference is an auto-hide function like x-live. Am too stupid to better describe it.
No sooner said than done.
Addendum:
Talking of insomnia! I have an excellent book to read so yes, bedtime it is.
ATC window currently opens at first radio message of current session. It would be much more useful to open at the most recent radio call. I don’t like having the ATC window open all the time. Opening it after an incoming ATC radio call has finished opens the window at the first/top call. I then have to scroll to the bottom to see what the call said before responding to it. If the window opened at the most recent call no scrolling would be necessary. Thanks
This is a problem to ALL windows (ATC, NavLog, Map, Checklist(?))
Closing and opening it again resets the states of the window.
For the NavLog there is a fix coming in SUXII, but only for the clock.
So even this remains broken after the “bug” get introduced in SIVII, I think.
IMHO much effort would be save if the ATC panel automatically appears when ATC calls the aircraft during a flight. Sometimes an ATC call is not produced verbally or not heard.
