I noticed that there is no chance to have the Auto Rudder function when flying in VR. I fly Fenix A320 with Thrustmaster Airbus Joystick and TCA Quadrant. The weird thing is that the auto rudder can’t be switched on, as the relevant page shows options for “Volocopter” only (and there’s no auto rudder there).
I noticed that if I bind the aileron axis to the rudder axis, every time I turn there is a strong wobbling behavior (in the yaw of course). If I unbind them, there is no problem in flight, but there’s no way to keep the plane straight on the runway during takeoff and landing.
What am I missing here?
Thank you.
If I start a flight using the Fenix A320, and then I want to have the auto rudder ON, I open the same menu you showed here, but everything is greyed out and instead of “custom”, you see “volocopter”…
And of course in that case the auto rudder function will be off
Super strange. If this happens with Fenix only I suggest contacting Fenix support. There are some other threads here with people reporting Fenix control issues in VR.
What happens if you enable the auto rudder before starting the flight?
And you may consider buying rudder pedals for more control realism (also to operate the brakes).
It’s always ON by default. But when I use the A320, it goes off and no chance to restore it
