Can confirm this issue. All details on the walls of autogen buildings are missing. Funnny enough details on the roofs (including roof windows) are still there.
Just two examples from a random town in northern Germany.
I’m seeing windows on some - but very few - buildings. Most have none. Picking 3 locations at random:
MMVHZ in Morelia, Mexico:
The building behind the tail of the helicpter right by the helipad looks OK:
But a few meters away - Not OK:
U2YGU in Novosibirsk - Not OK:
and FCF8D in Oyo, Africa - Not OK:
Looks like at least the window & door components for all these procedurally-generated objects are missing.

Could you spawn at Cuba, (23.120825 -81.292134) where I provided a screenshot in my 1st post above, do you see the same ?
You have some windows where I don’t so as you mentioned maybe a server related issue ?
No i don’t think so, I try’ed all three servers (europa, USA and Asia) NO windows!
Have you cleaned the cache and deleted the rolling cache?
Only some autogen buildings have windows, 90% do not. This is in beta on Xbox.
I have deleted the rolling cache but can you remind me how to clean the cache ?
I use this app to clean the cache, MSFS2024 Toolbox for Microsoft Flight Simulator | MSFS.
I don’t understand how we are now over a year into MSFS 2024 and these stupid things are still being overlooked. It took me literally 20 seconds in SU5 to notice that all the autogen was messed up. not only are the windows gone, but the wrong building types are all over the place. NOTHING was wrong with the autogen before.. DON’T TOUCH IT!!! Same as the water with the black lines now.. it was perfect for months… WHY MESS WITH IT??? quit messing with things that already work, it can’t be that difficult to NOT mess with something. It also can’t be that difficult to TEST the beta for very OBVIOUS bugs before release.. and also maybe don’t release on a friday.. all simple things.. I don’t get it?? Also the GROUND IS STILL BLURRY.. for MONTHS now. another thing that was perfectly fine at release and has gotten worse and worse and worse. I literally don’t even want to use the sim because of how bad the ground looks. And here is another VERY OBVIOUS bug.. what in the world are the trees doing now??? they are like spinning or popping or something.. looks like popcorn over any trees.
Well, the community screamed out not to release su16 for 2020, and they did it anyway. Great example of ‘it wasn’t broken but that didn’t stop them’, now let’s see if they go down same path with 2024.
..“we are not sure how trees would have worked before but if it’s an important feature we will be sure to look into it” in the next dev livestream?
Well the community was screaming not to release 2020 Alpha, or any update thereafter, for that matter. The community has little to nothing to say about the release schedule, or content. I sometimes think that bug reporting using the template, and voting is the best thing we can do, and then… we wait…
On the other hand, I see the feedback, and bug logged flags pop up more regularly lately. That’s a good development, because these are the threads that get raised to the devs.
That’s how betas work. If you don’t like it you don’t have to opt in.
It looks to me from some of the screen shots posted in this thread that certain buildings have their windows are “baked into” the building texture while some are procedurally added (depending on LOD setting). This could explain why some buildings are still showing windows and some are not.
Can someone who is seeing windows move the camera ultra-close to the building; if the window is flat rather than projected out of the building then that would support the “baked in” theory. I’ll see if I can find some also and report back.
