Automatically load a pre-defined default flight with MSFS startup

Hello,

i understand, but then it would be good to have the Possibility to have the Menu you get at the beginning of the Game with the “World” Menu in the upper right.

Hello,

can we have a “default Flight” ?
That means, after starting MSFS it starts automatically the Flight and we end up at the saved Gate or Runway, wherever the default Flight is saved ?

Thanks
Matthias

And we’ll they’re at it, let them also implement much-needed state saving for all systems of all aircraft. Or at least a way to make is easier for 3rd party devs to do so, because most are still releasing aircraft without state saving, which is inexcusable for our era.

Wish I could define a default flight to automatically be at fly position from the main window.

Also, be nice to be able to start MSFS from a .FLT file.

Could there be a choice to not download from the cloud (updates, etc.), just execute what is on the PC?

How about a way to Boot Up directly into a saved Flight file.

Call it HyperBoot, or DirectBoot, DirectFlightJump, where you could double click on a saved flight file and it boots up MSFS, bypasses the Main Screen, and goes straight into the flight, on Tarmac or airport or on the runway, what ever it was in the Saved Flight file.

It could save a person quite a bit of time, perhaps 2 to 5 minutes at times.

You could have a setting in Main Settings of MSFS that would say ‘Allow Direct Flight File Bootups’ and it would automatically bypass the Main Window for MSFS and go directly to the flight you had double clicked.

I remember being able to double click FLT files too. It would open FSX straight into the cockpit with that plan loaded.

Yep… You would right click the file and select ‘Open with…’ and select FSx.exe’ and the sim would start up and bam, you are on the ramp or in a flight. No main menu, etc. Direct into the flight.

Even though there are many who would love to use this capability, with only 29 votes it’s not likely to be restored into MSFS (from FSX). I once compared wish list votes to Asobo’s planned updates, and anything less than 100’s of votes get’s no “CPU cycles” from Asobo. Unless you have some kind of inside clout like what happened with them improving the looks of snow even though only about 5 people thought it was an issue.

Please add the MSFS 2024 tag to this request. Thanks!

It was perfect in MSFS X, and since MSFS2020, we no longer have this default option.
Am I the only one who misses entering the SIM and just pressing a button to start the flight, always with the same aircraft, always in the same place, with just one click?
