Autopilot Disengages Mid-flight

I have been experiencing the AP disengaging unexpectedly during flight. I turn it back on and within a second it disengages again. This happens regardless of the aircraft being flown (so far, the C172, Bonanza G36, C208, and the Baron). Anyone else having this issue. Any ideas for correcting it? Thanks for any help.

Hi. Did you check control bindings to see if AP disconnect is bound to some unintended control?

Also, I suggest adding a small dead zone in the yoke axis controls.
