Do it, check the flight control on all axis. I found out, that my TM Rudder Pedals need one complete cycle to synchronize with the rudder. If I don’t do it, i have full rudder deflection with just 1/4 of pedal deflection. After completing a full cycle everything is fine then.
Maybe I understand you wrong, but the AP do control and adjust trim. You can see it clearly when you look on the trimwheel during AP controlled flight.
