ISSUE DESCRIPTION
While walking around using walk-around (Avatar) mode, the avatars movement follows my head movement. With other words: I walk straight and start turning my head left (or right), and the Avatar immediately starts moving left (or right), even though it should keep walking straight.
This behaviour is immersion breaking, it can lead to VR motion sickness, and it makes no sense. I gather from reading the forum that most VR players who use Avatar mode control the Avatar with a game controller - which is the most intuitive way. I want my game controller to be the only device that steers the direction of movement of my avatar.
Btw, the same avatar behavior was reported by people who use head or eye tracker devices (i.e., not VR).
