I’ve only had the sim since May 21 but i wish I had seen this thread sooner. After numerous:
- on and off again CTD’s,
- game reinstalls, driver updates
- tweaks to game settings and graphics card
- false IDP warnings from AVG, AVG tuneup deleting sim files during cleanup, etc etc etc
I removed AVG completely from my system four days ago and it has been smooth sailing/flying ever since. I hope the word gets out if this was effecting others as well. I was even able to go back bump up my graphic and traffic settings - no CTD’s so far (fingers crossed). I still get an occasional ‘low bandwidth’ msg on startup but I just hit ignore (figure that prob has something to do with either the MS servers or my own service provider). Cheers
