Ok this has happened to me twice in two days. Once on a Cessna Caravan and once on the TBM.
I am on a IFR Low Altitude flight with ILS flight plan. As I am flying the avionics lock up. I can adjust things like altitude/verticle speed…etc…but it will not display on the Garmin.
It randomly seems to start working again if I go external view or given time it may come back on again. The screens dont turn black as others report, but they just lock up.
I also had the switches lock up in the TBM for de-ice. I could click on the switch for windshield de-ice, but the switch wouldnt move. Yet the ice melted off my windscreen.
Seems to have happened with the latest patch. Never had this happen prior to last patch.
I had this once. The PFD readouts were frozen, but synthetic vision continued to work. The MFD map also did not update. I completed my flight alright, but the instruments were next to useless. I forget which this was, but I think it was the C172 G1000.
This happened to me on the TBM and the 172 g1000. Both times were near approach and it unfroze during the approach. The altitude, level and speed tape froze. I had to use the secondary gauges during that time as they continue to work. The plane and autopilot continues to function properly, it is just the partial display that gets frozen. This never happened before the latest patch and now happens consistently. I haven’t figured out how to make it unfreeze (if it’s even possible). I will try the external view thing. I don’t have any other issues really. The sim has been very smooth for me even at large airports.
I thought it was the TBM-improvement mod I installed so I deleted that and reinstalled the mod.

Now it looks like its more persistent than using the mod. It might be the game since you guys are also reporting the same. Start a bug thread so we can vote if you don’t think this is a mod issue.
The same way you start any thread. There should be a button at the top of the screen which reads “New Topic”, at the upper right of the screen.
You want to be in “Self-Service: Bugs & Issues”
Also consider raising it with Zendesk. To be fair, that is more important, but at least on the forums you can bounce things of other users to see if it really is a bug or not. Kind of pre-triage for Asobo!
