It seems as in the last few days the Avionics panels such as the G1000 have become nearly impossible to read in daylight. This seems to have started for me over the last couple of days. Anyone else see this?
If not I will clear out my community folder on the chance a mod is causing this.
Many mods remember or reset brightness settings when loading the aircraft.
Please try it yourself without the mods, especially if you have the G1000 mod (or one for your particular aircraft) installed, most likely that will change this behavior.
Also check if the brightness is set to max.
Solved, was a mod. I believe the A32 Fly By Wire mod.

The FBW mod starts the aircraft with all brightness down. You have to manually increase the brightness whenever you’re entering the cockpit, that’s intentional.
I’m fully aware of that.
The “Dimness” was happening with the G1000/G3000 GA Avionics.
All instrument panels are dingy in daylight even when full up. Hard to see on a full cockpit view.
