New aviators welcome! Last time we departed from Blackbuse, explored the south coast a little before settling in London, this will be a ongoing weekly event so anyone who is keen on seeing the UK please feel free to join us!
Flight Description
We’ll be picking up where we left off last time from London City (EGLC). We’ll follow the River Thames west which will take us through the heart of London.
To avoid Heathrow, we will take a small excursion South, down to Hampton Court Palace before making our way to Windsor castle and then on to the city of Oxford.
We will then briefly pass by Bleinheim Palace and then West towards Wales. Here we will fly past the Principality Stadium and the Wales Millennium Stadium.
Lastly we will follow the coast of Wales west over Swansea before touching down Haverfordwest Airfield (EGFE).
Aircraft
I suggest we use some small single engine aircraft, something along the lines of a Cessna 172, Diamond DA40, Beaver etc. Anything that can comfortably cruise between 110-120Kts
