Hi. Like I said, I have tried both in and out of the sim, in and out of aircraft…
Very odd. I can confirm that there is an Exception/Error when you try to open the Events dialog while not being connected and not in an aircraft. But it definitely worked for me when I was. The initial bug has been fixed in 1.61 b02 which is available as the DEMO version for now.
You can try resetting the app to factory state by deleting this folder:
C:\Users…\AppData\Local\LORBY_SI\LorbyAxisAndOhsMSFS
I’ll try it again today. I’ve only tested the newest version out of the sim. But the older one (downloaded 1 or 2 days earlier) crashed in every scenario. Thanks for the help so far.
Hi again. Trying now, but config button is greyed out while I am in the aircraft.
If I disable the Saitek Panels, the option is available again, but then it will also crash…
I also tried the same 2 procedures while at the world map, with aircraft selected and recognized. Crash again.
Will try the reset procedure. Edit: deleted the whole folder you mentioned, and tried again. Crash both in world map and when in the actual aircraft, with airplane recognized both times.
Wait. That did the trick. This is an initialization error, when nothing has been assigned to this aircraft before. That is why I can’t see it, all my MSFS aircraft already have at least something assigned in AAO.
Would you mind sending me an email? Address is on the last page of the manual. Or a message here in the forum. I will send you a test version.

Is there a way too use the Trim Wheel not for trimming, but to change the VS?
Replace the trim events with the VS inc/dec:
MP_TRIM_UP → “AP_VS_VAR_INC”
MP_TRIM_DOWN → “AP_VS_VAR_DEC”
They are in the “Autopilot” section of the events list.
Thank you. What a great suggestion.
Hi Oliver,
I had found that flying A320 using Saitek multipanel auto thrust switch, you can turn on auto thrust, but switching back does not work, no disengage event happens.
Not sure if this was mentioned before.
Hi Oliver,
Bought the app. Works great thanks worth the 12 bucks for sure, only 1 issue?
The FIP panels do not run so smoothly. I have refresh rate at standard 18hz but its all a bit slow and shaky. Im not used to them being so slow.
If at the same time I create the desktop fip panels than I can add the instruments to my second screen, wich is awesome btw. Than on the second screen the intruments run real time very smooth. Every movement is clearly visible even the small changes. When looking at the FIP panels the same info is being displayed but only allot more slow and shaky?
Could you do anything about that? Im used in xplane and fsx them running very smooth.
Thanks again and happy flying,
Brim.
I wish I could. The limiting factor is the 3rd party FIP API from Saitek called “DirectOutputService”. AxisAndOhs uses the methods that Saitek describes in their SDK, but that API is really really slow. It takes almost 100ms to process one single image for one FIP. If you have more FIPs, the update rate goes down proportionally. I found that 3-4 FIPs is the most that the API can handle - 4 being really slow already.
The AxisAndOhs Desktop and Web FIPs are all my own logic, they are not limited by the API. In one of the next versions I will include my own gauges, so they become fully independent.

Development update for the upcoming version 1.70:
- The bug with AutoThrottle not turning off with the Saitek MultiPanel has been fixed
- A solution has been found for switching the Avionics bus 1&2 with the Saitek Switch panel.
- Bug has been fixed that the flaps lever detent selection is not shown
- Bug has been fixed with the non-functional APR light on the Saitek MultiPanel
- The Saitek Switch panel now has separate ON/OFF events.
- Work has started on custom gauges for the Desktop and Web instruments. Once those gauges are complete, this feature will be available for everyone, not only for users of Saitek gear.

Looking forward to the next update. Many thanks for this. My panel was just an expensive paperweight until your software breathed life into it!
Thanks. Very clear!
Awesome that you are adding custom gauches.

@Oliver: Hello and thank you for this nice software. I did buy It and use it all the time. All knobs and buttons are working fine, but I am missing that the “APR” (Approach) button is lit up when I press the button. All the other buttons are lightening up when I press them. Is this something you can fix?
I have: Logitech G Saitek Pro flight multi panel
Hi Oliver,
I also just purchased your software, just wondering how to update the paid version when an update is available?
I did buy mine at simMarket, and when I log in there I can select my downloads. There is always the latest version.
Thank you for that information
The update will be uploaded to your account on SimMarket. They usually notify you automatically when an update is available. The version number is always part of the ZIP filename, so you can compare the file in your account with what you have installed.
