For the most part, I’ve found my PG has looked pretty good for the last few updates. I had a bad time in the past with the melted, post-apocalyptic landscapes with PG, and there was little I could seem to do to fix that. It convinced me it was a server side error.
SU4 seemed to fix a lot of stuff for me. The live weather only on 1st flight bug (which I was convinced was was server-side issue) got repaired. So did the super slow downloads I was experiencing on updates (15 Mbit max on my 1Gbit fibre connection), and the melted PG landscapes I was seeing everywhere. They all seemed to get sorted out in that same update.
That said, I don’t really have proper context as to what your issues with PG are. I can say even the best PG doesn’t stand up to close scrutiny if you’re flying at super low levels or using the drone to explore cities. It was never really intended to have that level of fidelity. Perhaps someday it will, but today isn’t that day. Or are you still seeing the melted landscapes as others are?
