Personally, I find the different GPS versions and options for this game, and keeping track of which plane is currently using which version, and what we are supposed to have installed or uninstalled to make plane-x work has turned into a horrid, confusing mess.
I hope they clean it up and simplify things, and sooner rather than later, and I wouldn’t judge any 3rd party developer too harshly on a GPS mix up at this stage.
I’ve only had one flight with the C-160 after the update. But the APU stopped exactly as you described. I didn’t give it much attention as I thought I’d missed something else, or some key binding interfered.
After restarting the flight, everything worked fine.
All the Lvars are listed if you enable dev mode and choose ‘Behaviour’ and local variables. There are plenty of lvars and they all have the prefix Azurpoly_C160 so it’s pretty straightforward.
Very frustrating but I am still blocked from purchasing this. The marketplace transaction fails or gets stuck every time. I spent hours searching the web for solutions, and there are a ton of them to be found. All of them have not worked for me. There is an entire thread devoted to this problem right here on the forum. When you reach the end of the suggestions, the last option is to submit a ticket to zendesk for support. Forum users have said that this will get the issue resolved in a few days. So, after hours and hours of troubleshooting, restarts, sign outs and turn off and ons, I finally punted and submitted a ticket for help.
The response was quick. It directed me to a forum thread dedicated to this issue and told me to follow the troubleshooting steps within.
Just had same issue , only this time it shut down both engines too, checklist was followed, plenty of fuel on board, restart didn’t fix, going to delete an redownload to see it it fixes it
Best way to avoid the cut out is to bind mixture to an axis if possible. On the Honeycomb Bravo I made a dead zone at the bottom so I need to go below the detent (set to decrease mixture).
Had engines spool down on own again, only after a 50 minute flight though , in other news, i did my first inflight fuel transfer from C tanks to A tanks , using the picture in the latest update of the manual
I just wanted to be sure that they were exposed so I can map them with Spad - find it really awkward to manage controls with a mouse after getting used to hardware controls.
