A temporary fix could be to reduce the volume of the trim wheel like was said above. While a more permanent fix is worked out
After a couple more flights, I have had less porpoising than I did at the beginning. Definitely still some periodic instability both in climb and cruise (I can hear the trim wheel constantly back and forth and see the little arrow moving) but not as bad. I’ve been lighter these past couple flights, maybe that’s related, idk. (Also, as one commenter said, you can hear the wheel moving but the physical wheel doesn’t actually move.)
By far the worst part is the sound of the trim wheel moving. I understand it’s probably accurate, but the sound of its constant adjustment during all flight phases is driving me crazy. It’s like being in a room with a really loud ticking clock. Or that guy with the dogs who heard the bell and knew they were going to be electrocuted. If there was an option to turn this specific sound down (or even better - off) that would be really helpful.
Yes well, normally it wouldn’t be going off constantly, because you shouldn’t normally be oscillating. All those tiny adjustments would not be happening all the time in a straight and level flight. Not at the rate I have experienced.
I just did a flight where i played around with the CG in flight and i got no changes to the results. it still oscillates
If it is being caused by some kind of CG issues, it really underscores the need for a dedicated loading mechanism via the 707 app in the EFB vs the default EFB loading system (which I feel is cumbersome and complicated and doesn’t seem to fully match up with what gets loaded to the aircraft).
Hopefully WT acknowledges this and releases a patch

Yes the trim wheel is not moving but it makes the trim wheel sound which is really annoying. Just like in the recent video sent.
I have exactly this same issue as shown in the video by @sleeveless, very annoying and I have no idea what’s causing it.

I have found a way to “minimize” the oscillations. fly with no payload (no pax and no cargo) and fly no higher than 32,000 feet. It minimizes the oscillations, but it doesn’t remove them completely. this issue definitely needs to be fixed by WT, it is incredibly frustrating and annoying.
