Real one

MSFS2024-watch the right PFD

Can replicate:

I haven’t noticed this mostly because I never care about the co-pilot PFD and Nav Display. However, the two PFDs are placed right in front of the Pilot and the co-pilot. Is it really wrong?

Hi…In terms of realism it is wrong…it is not the position but how the PFD sectors are placed. As You can see in the real snap of the cockpit the right PFD has the messages sector of the screen on the right and the HSI on the left…mirroring the left one. An indipendent developer change it for the MSFS2020 version using UV Map (watch at the snap below). For sure Asobo and WT can made it. Their B787 Cockpit is wonderful but needs some graphical and technical refinement to be what We can expect in a Premium Version of MSFS2024. In the next days I’ll list all these things one by one as suggested by the Team.

Sorry DementedCorn327,

I didn’t understand what You’re meaning with can replicate…

Thanks

Aaaaah…Oooook…I’ll post other graphical and technical issue…help me in making the B787 voice louder…this is a very good Airliner…:+1:

Thanks

This is the same problem on the 737-MAX. This problem has been brought up many times to Asobo/MSFS only to be met with very negative reactions by the developers. The last such reaction was by someone from Working Title. I doubt they will ever bother to fix it because these guys are very stubborn and dead set in their way.

Noooo…Thanks for the reply…I hoped they would fix it…why make a premium version of the Simulator and then don’t fix what must be working from the beginning? All the customers in this era have to peay before something tha is not perfectly functioning. This is an habit nowaday but is not correct. We made free testing to make better something should be from the beginning…it should be appreciated by the developers.
However We hope in the better…

Thanks for the answer…

Cheers

I’ve noticed this issue, but I feel this is not a serious problem, comparing to other fatal bugs.

This is intentional for performance reasons.

Though I do wonder how others like the PC-24 and PC-12 seem to get away with it

Yes it is possible to make without wigh down the performances. Kuro made it for his MSFS2020 B787…

Yes it is not foundamental but is actually wrong and not acceptable because it is not realistic…is like have the wrong colors on the A320 Overhead buttons or have a wrong shape in the external model. This is my personal opinion obviously…

No performance hit at all?

I think Kuro made with a UV texture trick that dupèlicate the left one but in a diferent way…but I’m not so familiar with those things. However Phoenix uses two indipendent PFD I think, without loss.

When I hear things like “it’s the way it is because of performance” means the dev teams are not going to spend time on fixing the root cause.

And when you see other dev teams can do this while MS/Asobo/WT refuses to do it, you know their priorities are elsewhere. In fact, we have no idea where their priorities are given they don’t fix the simplest bugs.
