Nice! Can’t wait to see the finished product! Loving all the “unique” aircraft coming to this sim

Really looking forward to this, keep the vintage airliners coming!

Really interested by this project, will it be available across all platforms or is it PC only?

Probably PC only since A. I don’t think marketplace regulations allow a 14 year old to post stuff in there and B. With all the issues lately, it would be hard to bug fix

I wish you the best for your project

Status Update 2:

No cockpit photos as of now since I’m at a doctors appointment…

I saw a question about it being on XBOX and I felt the answer I said was very vague

The BAC111 made by FoxTrot Studios is not going to be on Xbox unless MSFS changes the marketplace to either…

Quicker and faster updates
Or
Freeware is allowed since idk if it’s going to be freeware or paid

On the dev side we are working on the Aircraft hill and wings plus Redone engines

Cockpit wise we will have three options

A completely Non RNAV option with dme and adf

CIVAs

And a Bendix VOR gps system……

How bout sounds

Sounds are going to be hard, if anyone has sounds they can lend for this aircraft or are willing to help by finding BACs sounds posting them in this forum thread is greatly needed

And finally ETA

Our hopeful (Note Hopeful) is march 2024, I’m a one man team so everything I do is going to be slow …

TLDR modeling realy getting done, cockpit soon in dev,nav in dev,and everything is being worked out

Sincerely mdottyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

For sounds, not sure if he is still around, but David Maltby did a wonderful BAC 1-11 way back in the FSX days and I believe it had accurate sounds. May want to ask here: Classic British Flight Sim - Forum

Additionally that group likely has ready access to any preserved examples of the 1-11 and may be able to provide resources.

Yes I totally remember that wonderful 1-11 freeware mod for FSX as well as the HS748 and a few other British planes (comet trident vc10) for FS9. However it has been too many years that I even forgot who the developers were, unfortunately. It seems the original website fell into disuse. I wonder though if JF had planned to update their FSX/P3D 1-11 somehow? And just not sure about their timeline. I really liked a lot of these early jets!

Travelled on BAC 1-11s on numerous occassions back in the 80s. One of my favourite aircraft. Looking forward to the release! :+1:

The Historic Jetliner Group hosts the Dave Maltby planes on their website. (Trident, BAC-111, Vickers VC-10, DH-106 Comet)

Wow that’s so cool! I’m glad those files weren’t gone from the internet. Yet it only took jetliners

I can’t wait to use it on Allegheny Airlines routes because they flew this out of Pittsburgh

any updates on this?
