Backing up the program

Hi fellow aviators,
How does one go about backing up the program onto a different hard drive?
Thanks for any help

I’m just running Windows backup onto a 5TB external. I did one system image followed by a full file history backup and file history now backs up daily at mid day - it’s so fast you don’t notice it running when flying.

Hopefully it’s enough.
