Cpu: Ryzen 5600x
Gpu: 3090 OC 24gb
Ram: 32gb DDR4 3200mhz
HDD: 1tb SSD
My problem:
Im having terrible performance with my 3090 when playing on my 34inch curved Fullhd montior.
Im having around 30-40fps on Heathrow airport (online mode) and mild stuttering. Ive had to lower Tlod to under 100 to maintain stability. The mainthread (Cpu) is going red when i have it on 100.

(The FPS counter is only green because im in the menu)
I havent changed anything in nvidia control panel except “maximum performance”
When i had my 4060RTX i had better performance and better settings and worked perfectly.
First of all turn off DLX12, go back to the stock DLX11 - your CPU isn’t up to the task.
Next, reduce your settings to medium on everything. If that improves performance, then gradually add back the most important settings. Don’t fall into the trap of chasing FPS, 30fps is perfectly usable. Your aim is for smoothness first, after that you can adjust for quality. Check out a few Utube vids for some ideas but remember every system, no matter the apparent similarities, will be different so you need a bit of experimentation.
MSFS2024 promises to be a lot friendlier to CPUs, but we’ll see.

Turn on vsync and set Frame Rate Limit to 33 or 50% refresh rate.
Apply and save.
