I had a couple of instances when the simulator warned me that it was going into offline mode because of my “limited bandwidth.” That sounded fishy to me since I have a fiber connection to the internet, so I checked my speed when it happened, and my upload and download speeds were just fine.
The whole flight of about an hour after that presented me with terrible graphics reminding me of pre-FSX10 graphics.
I don’t know why this has happened, but this is another issue that Microsoft needs to iron out so that MSFS works as great as it is intended to.

Do you have any data caps set in the sim options?
No network caps. I do have a cap on the rolling cache, and no manual cache.
I’ve also noticed that MSFS doesn’t utilize the full download speed offered to it. My network card was only showing between 130-150 mbps download installing the latest update yesterday. When flying it rarely goes above 1mbps WTF? I have a 300 mbps connection, maybe its due to server location bandwith issues? I’m in Canada, where are you located?
I got the same thing. I have a 200mbs fibre. No clue why.
I got the same thing also and have 100Mbit fibre
