Wish I’d have found this thread before now.
I made the jump from Xbox back to PC in May. Splashed out a bit on a home-built 9800X3D / 9070 XT / 64 GB setup. Graphics stunning, but I would frequently get that awful memory resource warning message and tone. I could see my VRAM maxing out at 16GB and have always been slightly disappointed and puzzled.
Disabling rebar in BIOS resulted in no noticeable drop in performance but now my VRAM utilisation is typically 12-14 GB under similar circumstances that would always previously have resulted in 15.5GB+ utilisation. Even the Fenix A320 and PMDG 737s along with high-fidelity airports, Beyond ATC live traffic and more, run pretty much everything on ultra in UHD with still a GB of VRAM overhead.
I don’t find the AMD Adrenelin software particularly easy to use but will check tonight to see if I can disable this rebar by game, believe you can. Although I really only ever play MSFS (occasionally DCS).
