For reasons that I cannot discern, as there are no patch notes stating as such, the Set Altimeter key bind is no longer being set incorrectly. ATIS still reports the altimeter reading to the thousandth, but it no longer seems to erroneously affect the Set Altimeter control binding.

At least, not at this moment, on this day, maybe it will change itself again.

I noticed an issue early on where the altimeter was not responding at first to the barometric pressure setting. That seems to be better now.

I cannot believe this bug hasn’t been squashed yet. This is a major safety of sim flight issue.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

In MSFS2024 the QNH adds two decimals to the value which is incorrect / never used. In met reports and ATIS QNH is always (!) a 3 or 4 digit value, never with decimals. This is relevant in the menu and as read out by ATIS. Decimals are only used when the unit is inches mercury and the call is “altimeter”.

Totally.
There should be a hierarchy of bugs, instead of all bugs being treated equally and undergo this bureaucratic process!
