I thought I’d fly the King Air yesterday for the first time. I learned a lot, including the fact that I knew very little about how to fly the King Air. But I did learn how to take off and level off. Everything’s going fine, and then apparently the battery and both generators shut off – all the screens went blank, and the ATC window displayed a warning about needing the electrical systems turned on to use ATC. I was able to recover by reactivating the battery and generators.
So today, I’m flying my Longitude (the dakfly mod) which has NEVER done this. Coming in for a landing, everything’s great and you guessed it, the generators shut themselves off. I paused using the pause button and restarted them (which worked), but when I returned, I stalled and crashed.
I have no failures turned on (first thing I checked) and the only new addition to the community folder for the last several weeks has been the new pushback helper. Has anyone else noticed this? Any ideas?
