Are you on Steam or Microsoft Store version?
I have the PC Store Version of MSFS.
Are you using Developer Mode or made changes in it?
Brief description of the issue:
I cannot light up the Beacon or Strobles with my Alpha Controls nor can I use the mouse or keyboard action also. I dumped all my community folder files and reloaded and tried again and still same issue.
I have a friend who has the same issue, not sure if this was a SU7 Issues, but I have watched Twitch Streams and Youtube Vids with others and they are not having any issues. It came very evident when I was trying out the New Kodiak 100, so I tried a a few Asobo aircraft and still the same issues.
Any Ideas

Did you check your control settings to see if any assignments had changed?
It is known that Asobo updates do change some settings.
No issues with mine thus far, but as stated you may want to go into Control Options, and search on those lights and see whats bound and if anything is conflicting or not bound at all.
Been having issues with getting Nav,Beacon and Strobes to work on all aircraft for awhile now. I bit the bullet and did a complete reinstall of MSFS WITH no MODS installed, so in other words the Community Folder is empty. Loaded into the C172 and still cannot controls these light options, the mouse movements to control these switches does nothing. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Tapping the middle mouse button twice can help with this. Also, opening one of the top menu panes like Weather or ATC, interacting that then closing it, can fix this I believe.
I tried you suggestions and NO JOY, still have the same problem. I even download SPAD.next and created profile and still the same issue.
I have the Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo and double checked my profile settings to make sure they did not get messed up on the Lights selections.

If you disconnect all your controllers except for keyboard and mouse, and play the sim, does it work?
As suggested I disconnected Saitek X52, Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo and loaded multiple aircraft and all the mouse functions for ALL LIGHTS worked out ok. So now what would be my next step to introduce the controllers back into the sim so that the LIGHTS keep functioning.
Thanks
While sitting in aircraft with all lights working, I introduced the Bravo Throttle back into the sim and both the STROBES, NAV and Collision Lights turned off, so assuming this is a Honeycomb Bravo Throttle issueâŠanybody run into the same issue.
Thanks
Iâm only familiar with the Bravo from my reading; however, this sounds like some switches from the Bravo are interfering with the switches on the Alpha. You might check this.
It looks like one or more of your other controllers has mappings for those lights, and the switches concerned might be set in the âOffâ position, preventing them from being switched on.
Maybe search for âlightâ or âlightsâ in the assignments for each of your controllers.
Alternatively, you could plug in each of your controllers, one at a time, until the cockpit switches stop working again, to narrow down your search a bit.
Edit: ah it looks like your Bravo might be the âculpritâ then. Not sure what might be different about the mappings on the bravo, especially if the Alpha doesnât cause the same issue, but it looks like something is amiss.
Maybe an âon pressâ/âon releaseâ issue? MSFS can apparently omit to change from one to the other on the first time of asking.
Thanks for the valuable tips, I double checked the Bravo and found that most of my profiles had lights assignments which I did not input. I cleared out all of those issues, rebooted PC and started fresh. I double checked each profile and found some lights settings that did not delete. I again checked each profile and eliminated each one. I booted MSFS again and tried multiple aircraft, and voila itâs working properly. Thanks for all you input and help, been struggling with this issue for months.
