Beechcraft C90GTx Issues

I have recently purchased the Kingair C90GTx from the market place for MSFS 2020, and have been flying it a bit.

I have noticed that the MFD never shows the current fuel flow, it is always zero and the oil temps are always in the red.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I noticed the oil temp issue and emailed Carenado. They noted it for a patch. Recommend emailing them / submitting a ticket through their website site (as they have said they don’t consistently get bug reports through here) so they can note issues.

I purchased this plane today and noticed this as well. The fuel levels also do weird things if you turn on a boost pump.

How is this plane, other than the bugs? The Marketplace doesn’t even have a very good pic of the cockpit.

Graphically it is very good, both inside and out. It has the Proline avionics, parts work and other parts of the avionics do not work.

As far as complexity, it is a typical Carenado aircraft, not much systems depth.

I enjoy flying it non the less. The Black Square analog King Air is still superior.

Like @Ashippun5411 said, graphically it’s wonderful. There’s not much to it beyond that though. I thought with the WT Proline avionics it would be ok but it’s really not great. I rated it 2/5 on the market place. Glad it was only $9.99 for me.

Moved to User Support Hub > Aircraft & Systems as OP is requesting community assistance.

I’ll probably pass, then. I do have the BKSQ King Air Analog, which is hard to beat. Plus I found a freeware addon in flightsim.to that mods the stock King Air with the Collins Proline, which actually isn’t bad. Thanks!

I borrowed the MFD code from Husk’s PL21 King Air mod, and put it into the C90GTx MFD, it makes this plane so much more enjoyable to fly, you have to keep an eye on the torque, and prop RPM, to keep them out of the red. Although engine damage is not simulated like Black Square, it just makes the immersion better.

With my mod all engine indicators are now working.

If anyone wants my mod let me know.

I would love your mod. Wish BlackSquare had done the C90 as a B version, those old school Collins radios flanking the center radar and RNAV would be ideal.

I would also be grateful if you could share your mod please

I am not sure how to share with you guys, I can not upload it to a private message to you.

Any ideas?

Can you upload it to https://flightsim.to/ ?

I went through the process on Flightsim.to to upload the mod, the website would not let me click the submit button. Not sure what i may have done wrong. I will try again tomorrow if I get a chance.

I have the mod uploaded to Flightsim.to, I will let this thread know when it becomes active.

Thank you :folded_hands:

Here is the link for the mod I made using the WT21 to replace the MFD in the C90GTx.

Enjoy.

I downloaded the mod and dropped the file into my 2020 Community folder but I no longer have any engine data on top of the MFD. It’s blank (with only a fragment of left engine arc showing). If I remove the mod, the gauges show as Carenado designed. Zero fuel flow. Not sure what’s up.

I also discovered the engines will run without fuel consumption. Here’s how…. Start as normal. Turn off transfer pumps. Go into the fuel menu and remove all fuel from the nacelle tanks. Engines continue to run but should not since engines draw from nacelles. We can’t ignite the engines without fuel in the nacelles (normal) but once running, they no longer need fuel in the nacelles tanks.

I managed to get the mod working after I installed Husk’s PL21 King Air 350 mod. There must be some dependencies in it.
