Brief description of the issue:
Bell 407 cruise speed is inaccurate although it does feel like the 407 to fly.
(I have 500 hours on helicopters IRL and over 200 different types of Aircraft including Gliders, Fixed wing and helicopter).
When I tried the simulator at nearly 100% torque, it was doing around 100kt.
If you look at Bell’s documentation they quote 133kt cruise and 140kt max…
In addition, if you check an article from Pilot magazine from a real life flight
(Flight Test: Bell 407GXP - Pilot)
They quote… - we were at 95% torque and 138 knots, Gary pointed out we were climbing at 200 fpm.
