I really like EDDH and EDDK from Aerosoft as well as EGLL from inibuilds.

Always enjoyed the Asturias one from Orbx personally but also their southampton and shoreham ones. You can probably tell I like to hop from the South UK over the Bay of Biscay.

Hello,

I’m looking for a good large European airport to fill out my collection. Currently I have Fly Tampa’s EHAM & LGAV, and Inibuilds EGLL. Also, freeware airports in Greece, Spain and Norway.

Looking for something in Spain/Portugal, Italy or Scandinavia. Airports that have crossed my mind are MK’s LEBL, LPPT, LIRF and Fly Tampa’s EKCH.

In your opinion which of these are best?

Not on your list but Id recommend the Norwegian capital Airport ENGM Oslo Gardermoen by Aerosoft/Jo Erlend Sund. One of the best airports you can buy in my opinion!

Venice LIPZ, Barcelona LEBL, A Coruña LECO (regional but scenic) are among my favourites

MK’s later stuff is excellent — from your list, I can definitely recommend LEBL and LPPT; and I’d add LEMG, LSZH and EIDW. Their others are all old but due v2s at some point — however MK charge for upgrades — so best left alone for now.

FlyTampa EKCH is a pretty old scenery but it’s still great.

Agree 100%. One of the best airports in the sim. His EBBR is just as good, and he had a hand in the excellent Aerosoft EDDF. I also recommend Marcus Nyberg’s ESSA (sold under the Orbx banner) and LSGG (sold by Jetstream) — probably the most realistic-looking airsides in the sim but the landside areas tend to be a little neglected (though LSGG is a big improvement over his earlier work).

Speaking of Jetsream, they offer a decent LFPO, plus a couple of other large French regional airports. For France’s smaller regionals, Pilot Experience Sim are your guys.

Sim-Wings (marketed by Aerosoft) have a good selection, mainly in Spain and Germany. They’re old sceneries (only their LEBL is recent) and seldom updated but they’re extremely accurate. Aerosoft themselves offer a great version of EDDB.

For the UK, Pyreegue has EGAA, EGNX, EGPF, EGPH and (soon) EGBB. Ask anyone about Pyreegue — probably THE most respected MSFS developer.

If you’re looking at Eastern Europe, Tailstrike’s LKPR, Lisium’s EVRA and Drzewiecki’s EPWA and EETN are the very best. Austria isn’t quite Eastern Europe but Gaya’s LOWW is also lovely.

Finally, I think Atelic’s new LPMA deserves an honourable mention (superb scenery if you like challenging airports).

Hopefully this’ll give you a bit of inspiration. All the airports I mentioned above are premium quality.

Thanks everyone. I’ll probably start with LEBL or LPPT and follow with ENGM. EKCH and LIRF are really appealing, but I can use freeware as placeholders until those get updated.

Both MK’s and Sim-Wings’ LEBL are currently discounted in the A350 release sale at Contrail. EKCH too (you might be waiting a while for an update, though). I highly recommend Orbx’s ESSA, also on offer, at their store. It rarely gets discounted and just received a major update.

Check EETN from fly tampa. Tallinn airport. And EFHK. Nice short flight between two amazing airports
