I have both, the Kodiak and the 414. Between the two I would go for the 414. It‘s really excellent. It is under constant development though, with frequent updates. The updates are a hit or miss, some things get fixed and some things get broken. So you might have to wait a little bit and see if others are reporting any problems before installing the latest version. But it is still a joy to fly.
The Kodiak on the other hand is a little bit tricky to handle. There are some issues with the flight model especially at low speeds. It can be a handful to land.
