Hey, i know every PC-rig is different. But i would like to ask you simmers that actually using my spec on your PC.
A 3080Ti and Intel 11900K with 32GB RAM - Nvidia Graphic driver 472.12 - I only use screen resolution 1080p
If you have these specs and you super happy with your 60-70+ FPS - please let me know you settings. I´m not happy with how my setting preform., Please take screens of your graph-settings i MSFS anf share them with me.

With that PC and running 1080, you should be able to crank everything to 11!
It’s not about fps in this sim though, it’s about smoothness. Are you running a gsync / freesync display? And is it installed on an SSD / NVME drive? Maybe think about investing in one of those down the road if you aren’t because it’s absolute butter.
I run a similar computer with weaker CPU at G-ysnc 60Hz, all maxed in SU6. It’s smooth at 3440x1440.
I had serious issues with the latest nVidia drivers on my 3080Ti though. went back to the previous (472 something?) and it was smooth again.

I have a 3080 and all in 4K on Ultra.
Important is to active gsync/vsync. It makes everything smooth.
Well, my bios enables up to 450w (stock is 380w) and the card uses 430w in FS.
The only tweak I did: I shifted the blue colour setting in the control panel from 50 to 52%. To give the colours a colder touch. It helps a lot with the yellow tint inside FS
I have slightly lesser specs (3080, 10850K, 32G RAM) and can run FS2020 at 4K Ultra with EVERY slider/setting maxed and can pull 30-40 FPS. At 1080p, which is 4 times less pixels to process, I’d be extremely surprised if you can’t pull your desired 60-70+ FPS with the same maxed settings.
