He guys! Can someone recommend their favorite location to land using planes with snow skis? I want to try it out.
Feel free to share best locations or flight plans or routes. I’m talking about top of mountains or back country frozen lake or snow-covered forests, etc. Thanks!
Mt. Buller in Victoria, Australia, or Whistler Mountain in British Columbia, Canada.
Aletsch Glacier Swiss Alps next to the famous Eiger, Jungfrau and Monch mountain range.
What about the top of Mt. Everest… that’s a good place to ski as well.

Theodulgletscher in Switzerland is good for ski landings in the sim. Great scenery by the Matterhorn and Plateau Rosa

Nearest airfields are Aosta LIMW in Italy and Raron or Sion in Switzerland.
As a post retirement job I flew ski planes on Denail. There are a great number of places to land, many of which I or friends have landed IRL. Fabulous scenery! The cub or porter on wheel skis are pretty good!
