I donât know enough about your CPU, indeed about AMD chips in general, but I do wonder if your problem is that the integrated chip just canât cope with graphic demand of the program any more.
Does anybody use integrated graphics for AMD or Intel chips with SU4 beta?
Please donât get me wrong. I am not saying that it is bad, merely that it may not be good enough to support MSFS2024 as it currently stands. Flight Sims have always pushed the limits of computer hardware. I personally had experience of FS2004 crashing due to overclocking when everything else worked fine.
I am just asking if others are trying to run the software on integrated gpus.
Well, overclocking is risky, very risky, and at the end all Hardware have a shorter life time. But, on the otherside people that like be in top performanca, will be buying a new PC , lets says all 2 years.
I doubt very much that my problem is Hardware related, is some Software problem is Beta 4.
With 1.6.31. at EDDM, Runway, Cockpit view I get 30-32 FPS. That is enough for to play, that means GPU can handle very well the demand of the Software.
I would like to set the focus on the Software related problem and not the Hardware.
At the moment there is no developer looking into as the thread has not been marked as bug-logged.
Now, unfortunately, you canât really drop this as this may well be the last SU4 beta before it becomes the release version. If that is the case then you will have this issue and wonât be able to fallback.
The other thing is that you are using an iGPU. As you know I posted a call for other iGPU users to come forward and none have so there seems to be very few others. I wonât say none.
This means that for anybody from the developers to take notice you need to attach diagnostics from your CTDs so that they can tell if it is a SU4 beta issue or if it is an iGPU issue.
Just had a full PC crash. Nothing responded. EFHK-EGCC. With SI, AS,REX Atmos Core, Winwing App, HF8 Haptic Pad & GSX. 2 hours wasted lol (SU4 Beta - Latest)
I am having this CTD since at least version 1.6.21, probably since 1.6.13 as many reported to have CDT
Exactly because I did see there was no solution, and I was afraid that will go in next Oficial release I rushed in to report it, but as realise this place should be CTD Report place but instead nobody is caring about CTD, just users that have far less knowledge and experience with Hardware and Software as me are replying when I know there is nothing people can do.
For to play a game you need 25 FPS, that is a good condition to play.
FS 2024 has a dynamic setting that will limit frame rate to 30 FPS, so that people get more quality depending on the GPU.
I am getting 35 FPS, that means GPU is quite good enough to play FS 2024. Sure, iGPU is not a High End card, and I have also to set the qualty to Low End. In so many years and so many High End Cards I have had, I am very surprised about the performance o my iGPU.
Now, about GPU and Crqashing: When the GPU is poor and can not handle the Software demands, the only thing that happens is very low FPS, 1 or 2 FPS, nothing else. It will not crash becuase of this, may be will hang a sort of.
I think that adding crash report increases your chances of somebody looking at your issue. If you were to add any event viewer data on the crashes as well it would be even better.
I would not like to see this overlooked because somebody could say that they didnât have enough data to work with.
