Is there a way to test planes that are in beta form on the Xbox
Beta Planes as in being made by 3rd Party devs or by Asobo?
Short answer: No, as there are no “beta” aircraft available for Xbox.
Slightly longer answer: On PC there might be some but to install these access to the community folder is needed which in fact is not available on Xbox. The market place does not provide any beta channel for releases. So, no, not possible as of now.
Hopefully will be able to test some on Xbox soon, that way the quality of the addons coming to Xbox may improve.
Developers cant even test on xbox. They have to put their models through a tool which is supposed to tell them if it will work on Xbox. The first chance they get to test for real is when its released in the marketplace.

The only testing for xbox is done by the boffins at Microsoft. How ever they obviously need a QA department.

Don’t count on it. Ever. You can’t sideload content onto your Xbox. The only way to access add-ons is to buy them from the Marketplace. And MS won’t allow beta software in the Marketplace.
If you want to play or test beta planes or other 3rd party content, Xbox isn’t the platform for it and never will be.
