Hey guys, would it be possible to make it so sub-folders are read in the community folder? So we can for instance better organize or mods in sub-folders like “liveries”, “airports”, “assets” and so on, currently the mod HAS to be directelly inside the community folder in order to work, it would be great if it could read at least 1 or 2 layers of subfolders
I would be in agreement with this. With liveries, scenery and mods, it quickly fills up and becomes a mess of data that’s quite difficult to manage.
Also, it would be nice if the content manager in game was categorized or filtered as well. Install a bunch of liveries and a few add-on scenery packs, and now that’s a long list of stuff you have to scroll through. If you could filter by type (scenery, liveries, mods) or even just official marketplace / 3rd party, it would be a gigantic improvement.
With add-ons managers this is not an urgent requirement anymore. MSFS addons Linker for example does an excellent job of handling them and you can store addons anywhere you want not necessarily on the same disk.
It is a must have

MSFS addons Linker [/quote] is THE tool to be for managing large number of mod’s.
Take into consideration that, when you back-up on a regular base, the contents of the default …\Community-folder contains only links and no contents.
