Hello,
it’s quite convenient to use Wikipedia to find geographical coordinates of a place
See for example
It shows 47° 36′ 58″ N, 1° 31′ 02″ E
as coordinates
unfortunately this kind of coordinates are not parsed correctly by the MSFS search feature on the world map.
On the other side
47°36′58″N, 1°31′02″E
is parsed correctly
Maybe a simple regex fix should be done to take care of useless spaces.
Supporting Plus.codes / OLC may also be considered but that’s a different story.
Kind regards

Oh wow, I didn’t see this the first time around. Yes, please – I think that this is sorely needed in the flight planner.
It’s not just Wikipedia: Certain sites that list airport coordinates also present coordinates that the parser can’t read, either.
Hello,
plus.codes https://plus.codes/ aka OLC (Open Location Code) Open Location Code - Wikipedia is a geocode system for identifying an area anywhere on the Earth.
It could be added to provide an initial position (instead of latitude / longitude).
Kind regards
