Yeah the G2 and Quest 2 are acceptable FOV’s but I certainly wouldn’t want to buy a lower FOV headset moving in to 2023. I’m really hoping the Quest Pro delivers, sadly Meta have said it will cost substantially more than $800. Brad Lynch, the main leaker of information including all the CAD designs of the headset said they were targeting $1299 and some websites are saying $1500.
The Pico 4 offers insane value though at £379 in the UK with pancake lenses, the same resolution as the G2, and a noticeably bigger FOV. Unfortunately they haven’t put a display port on it, otherwise it could have been the next PCVR headset to upgrade to, such a disappointment.
