Yes, so what? Immahsion breaking? Unflyable?
I think they got a package of traffic that would fit in a 30 bucks application. This is all result of negotiations with FR24.
I tried one flight departing and one arriving both in Munich EDDM.
During the taxi the AI traffic seemed not to see me and a couple of times two taxi planes came towards me head on without stopping.
The AI engine needs improvement.
Hasn’t been touched since 2020. No priority apparently.
I’m talking about the BATC AI engine that has just been made available to the EA version.

They always asks for player logs on discord so they can replay and are you sure that msfs ai was turned off?
What is LLM?
Large Language Model
This will be a game changer, as it provides the ability, per the video and Discord announcement, to use completely unscripted ATC communication through voice or keyboard input and will be added at no additional cost, starting in early January for “Supporters” and about 6 months later (est’d) for those with “Early Access”. In addition, the video indicates it paves the way for VFR to be added.
I am guessing you never turned native MSFS traffic off.
I have the Experiential version and after the latest update, I observed that my AI traffic is not visible, no traffic movement. I switched to EA version and likewise, no AI traffic. I uninstalled and re-installed the application but the issue was not resolve. I launched my FSLTL and BATC started to work with the traffic again. Prior to the update, FSLTL does not need to be launched; BATC injects the traffic as intended.
I appreciate your solution and comments if you have encountered this same issue.
You are wrong, I have been testing AI traffic for four years with FS2020 in different modes and I know very well what I am doing and saying.
I’ve had at one or two incidents of an AI airliner passing through me head on. Not many, but it was with BATC traffic only, no other traffic being injected. It’s not perfect, but after living with in sim AI traffic handling for years (even with FSLTL injection) in FS2020 anything is an improvement.
They were both at freeware airports so maybe it is something to do with that and how they are read by BATC.
Yep, had one incident at Heathrow where a rogue Vietnam Airlines 787 didn’t seem to be listening to BATC. Taxied straight through me and took off on 27L even though I’d already been cleared. Not seen it since though.
I flew to Queenstown yesterday in NZ, decided to throw the kitchen sink at it lol. It was awesome and vectored me perfectly down for that crazy RNAV/just land approach onto 05.
Scenery looked magnificent too!
You must find the keyboard option great, for when the other Ni’s are sound asleep ![]()
Perfect for me.
Otherwise it’ll be:
“Ni Ni Ni Ni Ni herring this, shrubery that” Let me fly you villains!
I’m finding that enabling traffic with FS24 causes BATC to grind to a halt and stop responding for minutes at a time. Is anyone finding BATC traffic to work OK on FS24? This is even with traffic turned down to minimums on all settings.
I’m using FSLTL models, freshly reinstalled.
Been working great for me in 24, only using FSLTL models. I’ve got to do some tweaking to AIG as it’s all in different folders, long story. I did find I had to switch it to low fps mode other wise they were jerking all over the place, and if I went for my usual 20% upscale in res, it would still give jerky AI movement while the sim itself was smooth as ice. I suspect it’s just fighting for resources and getting slapped down.
