For me quite a lot at the moment, and from the streamers I’ve seen similar there too.
I think the console is really vital as you learn to use the program, and also at the moment with all of the bugs it’s often necessary to look at it or select options on it.

Same! As a VR only user, I need a native panel for this to work for me. I can’t use FSDesktop to display BATC since FSDesktop is already in use to show chat during livestreams 
But I am confident they will build a panel for this - it’s too good not to have one!
Thirded on the in game panel, something akin to the default ATC panel with all the various BATC bits and pieces would be awesome. The ‘active window’ key bind certainly helps.
I’ve seen it mentioned on the Discord (now I’ve got it working again) but no official response as yet, from what I can see.
Do I have to be running the sim in windowed mode for this to work? Because right now the BATC app crashes after every 8 or 9 transmissions.
No, I always fly in full screen and I did a one hour IFR flight the other day with plenty of transmissions and no issues (basic voices).

I’d seen FSDesktop as a possible solution, but as I would probably not need it for anything else, it’d effectively mean spending another £20+ on top of the cost of BATC. Not a lot maybe, but if VR is coming to BATC anyway, it’d certainly rankle a bit to pay for something that I ultimately won’t need to use.
Those “patience lessons” are definitely going to be useful. 
For sure! I have been using FSD for a long time for other reasons… but since I use it for other things, I can’t use it for BATC, too 
Agree on the patience lessons… lol I’m going to wait until there is a native panel for the UI and then I’ll get this. But that’s not to say anything negative about this product - it looks awesome and is in early access, so I can wait for this to come up on the roadmap (if it’s on the roadmap). Please please please put this on the roadmap
Yup, it was always going to be a certain buy for me, but as not being able to use it in VR is more important to me than injected traffic, it looks like I’ll just have to wait. It is still a certain buy, but my purchase is more likely to provide income to the devs a little later in the product’s cycle.
I watched a video on YouTube of a VR pilot using BeyondATC using FSDesktop. Worked great.
That’s possibly the one that I watched thanks and it did appear to be a good workaround to BATC’s lack of a VR-friendly console.
However, and this is indeed my choice, I’m really not keen on having to buy yet another piece of software. only to find that 2 weeks later, Beyond ATC might provide an even better interface.
for sure!! I think for 95% of the VR users this is a really great solution!
Just, for me, since I have to have the FSD window dedicated to something else when I’m in the sim in VR (the YT chat), It’s not a great option.
BUT! - this should not discourage others from grabbing this great addon if they are VR + FSD users! VirtuSim’s video shows how amazing this addon can be in VR if you have FS Desktop so please please VR folks - support this addon if you have FSD and don’t use it for anything else!!

Installed and ran it with admin privileges but it will not connect to FS.
I am not on the beta.

Maybe start BATC after you loaded in MSFS main screen?
Did you ever get it to connect to MSFS or you have never been able to get it to connect?
