Hello,
I use BeyondATC and FLOW from Parallel42 since few days.
Is someone knows how to “call” BeyondATC program from Flow Toolbar ?
GSX and FS2Crew are already integrated in Flow.
Thanks
Nicolas

BATC calling my plane Airbus all the time, i fly only C172 or Longitude. What is wrong?
I don’t use BATC with GA flying, but I had that happen once when I had a typo in my airline ICAO code when generating my Simbrief flight plan.
What does your Simbrief flight plan look like for GA flights? I leave the Airline field blank, and put my tail number in “Flight Number” as shown. It will simply call me November Xray Yankee Zulu in this case.
Hmmm…if it can call you “Airbus”, I wonder if there is some option to have it call you “Citation” or “Skyhawk”? Maybe I’ll check the BATC options page to see if there is anything.

I found one mistake, airframe sorted by registration not by name.
You should leave the callsign field empty for GA. BATC uses that field to search through an ICAO airliner list.
How is BATC compared to the amazing new V2 Alpha of FSHud?
Anyone tried both for a comparison. At the moment I only use FSHud, which already seems to do everything that BATC is aiming for.
Also, as an Air Traffic Controller the “monotonous” “on rails” feeling is what IFR flight should be. We have standard phraseology and strict procedures for a reason (which has been written in blood)!
I’ve only heard about FSHud but haven’t tried it. Do you actually talk to it, or is it your “Pilot monitoring” that does all the talking, you just fly? Maybe i’ll check out a Youtube demo of it.
I’m not concerned about “monotonous”, it’s just that the speech is too slow and deliberate. I hope they incorporate an option someday for sped-up abbreviated calls from ATC, like real life.
You can talk to it, and the new pilot/controller voices are great (with more coming soon to make it truly localised).
Also, the traffic injection/vectoring is done very well.
I used FSHud in the past and the FPS drop it gave me was the reason I stopped using it. BATC is much more FPS friendly and in my opinion a better product than FSHud. And of course traffic injection is nothing like BATC, even BATC traffic injection in Apha state is superior to FSHud.
FSHud version 2 is an extremely versatile ATC addon. Performance has improved significantly vs v1. Voice recognition keeps getting better. Voice quality IMO is great, and more and more regional accents will be added over time. I haven’t had any issues with AI traffic injection, and the ATC part of the addon is IMO the biggest strength of FSHud.
If you haven’t used FSHud in a while, I highly recommend testing version 2.
New update is out, experimental enroute traffic now released. Not tried it yet…sounds very promising. They are very transparent on release (basically get a verbal warning what to expect, if you continue to download), it is Beta (experimental version). Looking forward to trying it out.
Give 4 options with traffic on;
Parked density
Departure Density
Arrivals Density
Enroute Density
From 1-10
So no doubt they will rely on us users to report bugs on their discord channel, with the log file.
Major Update 1.3.2.Experimental
Traffic - The single density slider has been split into 4 sliders for parked, departing, arriving, enroute traffic. 5 is still the suggested value to start with for each.
Traffic - Improved livery matching to reduce 'blank' livery matches.
Traffic - Improved separation handling between player and following aircraft, which should prevent the player being overtaken on final.
Traffic - Add pauses between communication sets to player to more easily contact ATC in busy airspace.
Traffic - Adjust the target cruise, climb and descent speed for traffic aircraft.
Traffic - Improve positioning of ground aircraft on arrival when they were sometimes misaligned with gates.
Traffic - Improve issue with traffic sometimes waiting forever to cross a runway.
Performance - Rework to BATC core engine - this should prevent BeyondATC being throttled by windows under certain system configurations. Check the BeyondATC FPS counter that you can activate from the options menu to confirm 60FPS (or 30FPS in low performance mode) - note this is the FPS of BeyondATC not the sim.
Procedures - Fix incorrect altitudes in some arrival procedures with complex alt constraints.
Comms - Fix issue with ATC reading back comms to traffic aircraft at high speed and the entering generating speech loop if player interrupts ATC under certain conditions
Runway allocation - Prevent unsuitable runways being picked for aircraft that are too short for the aircraft type.
Premium Voice updates - Additional Korean / Italian / Japanese / Czech / Norwegian / Romanian / Canadian / Brazilian / Portuguese / Swedish voices.
Premium Voice updates - Change UK Female co-pilot voice.
Voices - Adjust background effect volume.
Fatal errors - More fatal error fixes based on reports in support forum.
Pilot Portal - Deployment of Pilot Portal. More information to follow in a separate announcement.
BATC Wiki - Deployment of BATC Wiki page. More information to follow in a separate announcement.```

I definitely need to give this a go. Thanks for the update.
Releasenotes seem to have changed slighly after the previous post. Also formatted for better reading.

And the other post, as mentioned in the release notes:
Greetings! We’re launching our Pilot Portal, Wiki and Traffic Map today.
Pilot Portal
- This is a place to add custom data for BATC such as your virtual airline callsigns, VOR and Procedure information. If you’re a registered BATC customer, you may log in with your account credentials and submit a change. Your change will go through a review process and, if accepted, will be added to BeyondATC for everyone to benefit from! We will be expanding this portal to include all sorts of data such as wind ops, SOPs and more!
- Please note: all submissions are tied to your account. If you submit troll data or intentionally false information this will result in an immediate ban of your account from BATC and Discord and will render your account ineligible for a refund. Do not do this.
- Link to Pilot Portal here: https://db.beyondatc.net:8000/login
- Huge thanks to @EnglishTea1066 for making this!
BeyondATC Wiki
- For all new pilots, this Wiki will teach you all the ins and outs of BeyondATC and help you get on your feet from your first flight onward. The wiki is packed full of useful information, so check it out even if you’re a seasoned pilot!
- Link to Wiki here: https://wiki.beyondatc.net/
- Big thanks to @dialex1995 for setting this up!
Traffic Map
- If you’re a Supporter and have access to traffic you can now check out all the traffic injected into the sim from BATC using this handy traffic map! A reminder that only traffic within 50nm of the player has to be in the sim, the rest is only in BATC. This is a side project to BeyondATC and is provided ‘as is’ without support. Please keep in mind if you’re not a supporter, traffic will be coming to all customers of BeyondATC free of charge in time.

Thanks for that, my format was rather difficult to read…
I really like the multiple traffic sliders - I think that’s a fantastic idea.
I did have an odd experience last night - after being given my STAR into London Heathrow, I never got landing clearance, but just landed anyway. After exiting the runway and contacting Ground to request parking, I was advised there was no suitable parking for my aircraft (British Airways 777-300ER). Definitely some kind of weird regression, since I flew the -300ER into the same airport twice last weekend without issue.
After trying BATC for a while (without traffic) I went back to FSHUD in version 1.3.xx
By not enabling traffic I have no FPS drop, if I inject traffic with FSLTL obviously I have a FPS drop but it does not depend on FSHUD.
Honestly now that I am knowing FSHUD better, I prefer it to BATC, for the moment.
I’ve tested that update and it worked great for me. Those separated sliders are godsent because now I can have airports full of parked aircraft with lower amount of moving traffic and thus better FPS. The enroute traffic worked also great, there were always aircraft in the area on my 4 hours flight. I’m happy with the progress this software makes.
