Big stutters when turning the head

Hey, is anyone else experiencing huge stutters right to 1 second pauses in MSFS 2024 when turning your heads? I have a big rolling cache of 128GB and the Terrain Pre-Cache set to Ultra.

The FPS Overlay in the DEV-Mode isn’t giving me any hints. Frametimes are stable. I cap them at 45FPS. My GPU isn’t at it’s limit and my CPU frametimes are also well under the 22ms needed for 45FPS.

It doesn’t seem to be a tracking issue, since sometimes the headset even turns to the steamVR grid and it keeps mooving there.

I am running am Meganex 8K through steamVR with the SBoys driver. This kind of stuttering startet after SU4 and wasn’t an issue beforehand. Sometimes all is well, often it isn’t. It isn’t dependend on weather or airplane, happens in complex airliners as in small GA Aircraft.

Yes. also having stuttering with head movement and when aircraft nose is turning across the horizon.
Last week all was fine. No changes to settings or drivers, no updates to hardware, just suddenly bad performance.

Yeah, having it while turning the Aircraft too.

It seems a bit like the pre-cache isn’t working as intended.

Might be related, might not be. Last night I had huge stutters/jitters when turning my head sat at a ramp at iniBuilds OMDB in the PMDG 777F. I have flown there several times before, and not seen anything this bad. Recently installed DLSS 4.5 and selected Preset M. I’ll try going back to preset L (I don’t care about the ghosting that much) and if that is not the culprit I’ll revert to an earlier DLSS version or revert the driver.

There is already a large thread dealing with stutters while panning around.
